Let me start by saying that most of all the players on this game understand the meaning of fair play and golf is one of the few sports that has a long and honourable legacy and tradition. In match play everyone has the ability to show respect to thier respective opponent with the emojis and clearly is a choice , when this privilege is abused by using them simply to attempt to distract and disrupt your opponents swing is a serious offence in the game of golf and should be taken seriously, in my opinion of course . But clearly at the very least degrades what would otherwise be a very enjoyable and realistic game experience. I believe this to be a serious infraction and any player who practices these tactics should be given a stroke penalty and further infractions dealt with greater penalties . Integrity is probably the single and most important part of golf and I humbly request that this matter will be dealt with the same integrity that this great game has been built upon . There are 2 main players in the game whom constantly do as Darren mentions in his comment. Black Girl and Hiroppon are always display this unsportmanship during match play. They should be banned or reprimanded for their actions.

Just add a disable feature as done in world chat. We should be able to choose who we want to chat with in match play.

I don’t believe being able to disable the emojis is the proper way to handle this particular situation , if you are able to disable then those who use that tactic will still continue and more players will be subject to the same Tactics ; however if a stroke or similar punishments are implemented then you not only save others from those tactics but also the perpetrators will also learn a valuable lesson and all will benefit

Adding a stroke penalty for over using emojis is not fair play. Yes it is annoying as I've played them many times for me a disable feature will suffice as there would be a chance for friendly players to get a stroke penalty for having fun

Clearly hdbubba , you are having a difficult time understanding the concept of fair play ; your suggested solution to this problem absolutely does not solve the problem , if those who use those tactics are not penalized for excessive emoji use as a means of distraction , than they will continue this behaviour , if that’s the game you would like then a more unrealistic and more cartoonish golf game is more suitable for you . Integrity is what makes golf great and a game of integrity , ask yourself how you would look at the game if you witnessed real golfers or even weekend golfers use any tactics that distract their golfing partners , you would find fist fighting on the course. If I were a new player on this game and I was subject to those tactics within a short time I would find another golf game to play . Stroke penalties solve the problem without question
